Lilja Kristófersdóttir (Christopherson) , born 16 Dec 1851, í Ytri-Neslöndum í Mývatnssveit, Iceland. [2] Died 31 Jul 1909, Manitoba, Canada.
Lilja became Lilja Josephson, then Lilja Goodmanson.

"Lilja (Lily) Ingibjorg Kristofersdottir was born in 1851, in Iceland, the daughter of Kristofer Andresson and Sigurveig Sigurdursdottir. Her brothers, Sigurdur and Hernit Christopherson, had been living in Canada, in Argyle, for several years, when Lily, with her remaining brothers, sisters and mother, immigrated to Argyle, in 1893. [age 42]

[Locate Lilja's history of 41 years in Iceland]

On August 5th, 1895, Lily married Barney Josephson. They rented SE (SouthEast) 29-5-14, where they made their home. That fall, while Barney was working on Card's threshing outfit, he contracted pneumonia. He never recovered, and died in December, 1895. [widow at 44]

Shortly after 1900, Lily married Hans Vilhjalmer Gudmundson (Goodmanson). Hans worked as a labourer and they made their home in Baldur (Canada).
On July 31, 1909, Lily died accidentally [age 58]. She is buried in the Grund Cemetery.
Hans later married Thornbjorg Halldorsdottir and they had three children, Hans died in 1924, and is buried in the Grund Cemetery."
