Letter Image 7451, Jane Hearn 5 miles out of St. Augustine, [FL] mentions Aunt Lizzie.
"Dear Aunt Lizzie [Elizabeth], I miss her very much. The last time she wrote to me she said she intented taking Rosie (John Taylors dau.) back to her parents as she had no settled? home now and then she would most likely go and h__ at Mrs Neils for the winter. They objected to having Rosie with them.
John Taylor had died at Mrs. Neils? in Milwaukee on his way back from Florida. Says others to give particulars.

 

OCT 8, 1886 Elizabeth(1) "Aunt Lizzie" is visiting Carrie. She resides in her own house in Carberry. MB. Rosie is living with her and attending school. Her brother Alfred Taylor lived in ONT and could not buy a business, so there was nothing for Lizzie there. Her husband had past away [ref. Darkforces IMG 6837]
