Interesting, there was another Mary with a father of Richard on Barbados in the 1600's.
There is another Mary Frances Taylor born same year to different parents - Samuel Taylor
There is a Mary Taylor b. 1822 m. John Ames
There is a Mary Elizabeth Taylor on Barbados 1862 Source

"I have an one old letter written by (Mary?) ls? her young brother [initials in ink wm?]. She evidently died when a young woman therefore her letter was sacred to her memory."
Source The Life & Times of William Stewart Taylor.
Roy speculates this was a letter written to William Stewart Taylor, from his sister Mary.
Probably in the possesion of Veiga who might have written in source listed above.

Also mentions letters stolen for their stamps. This would explain some missing family member letters. There is a comment on Dorie's wife, Ranka and Half brother William of William and Eliza, a lighthouse keeper with several children, his wife's name was Margaret
[Not sure why above is posted here]
