As of March of 2012, the Media Hub is now ONLINE, however, the main focus will be to use the Main Photo Page below to host the photos. The Jpeg copies of the 6,000 photos have been placed in the Media Hub. Access the New Albums here (pending). There is a password (email address) section from 2010. With 160GB available for the Main Photo page, the media hub requires too much work to set up and give access.

RE-ANNOUNCEMENT
On April 12, 2010
the Pauline Einarson Christopherson &
Arni Sigvaldson and Diane Taylor Sigvaldson MyStora media hub
will be re-inaugurated for family members and a few Historians
to access the photos in the 1TB Christopherson Vault,
with a capacity to distribute/receive 225,000+ photos/files.

I am re-dedicating this area to my mother, Pauline and cousin, Arni and his wife, Diane,
through their kind efforts donated money and made this possible.

A little story; Pauline bought a card for Roy and placed money in it,
only to forget about it, whereby it was found recently after her passing.

Over 4,400 scanned photos and smaller JPEG copies will be made available
to download through your web browser.
While the majority of these photos are of the Christophersons and Einarsons of the 1930's,
there are some real gems covering WWII, Thrashing and bailing in Manitoba, Some circa 1885 photo,
plus hundreds of documents used for the research of Sigurdurs Saga, like deeds, maps, homestead photos.
Some of these photos are already posted with their appropriate web page at christopherson.net.

Added to this is the Miriam Westereng Collection of vintage photos from the Christopherson branch

the Lilja Kernested Collection from the Sigvaldson/Arason branch

and the Sig & Hank Christopherson Collection of close to 2,000 vintage photos from 1897 to 1915 and up to the 90's, which includes the Ranka Johnson family.

Started numbering each photo to be able to organize.
A High resolution TIFF file for reprinting is the master
along with a lower resolution JPEG version for viewing/emailing.
So most people should view the Jpeg photos.

MUSIC & VIDEO
Except for a few test music and video files, doubt any will be placed here.
This hub was purchased for genealogy files only, so don't place or expect to find any music or video libraries.
Unless genealogy related, like Eileen Christie singing.
